Solar Radiation Sensor - Analog

  solar_radiation_sensor_kas_051_analog_pcatalo.pdf  [ Download ]
The KAS-051 Analog Sensor or silicon pyranometer measures specular and diffuse Solar Radiation using photodiodes. The photodiode measurement head has an optical attenuator cum cosine corrector. This filter not only brings the incident radiation into the measurable dynamic range of the photodiode but also applies compensation for the angle of incidence. A radiation guard prevents below-horizon interference.
