The UHF SATCOM Terminal KUHFSCT01 is a portable satellite terminal that works with a GSAT based UHF Transponder for voice and data communication. The terminal is developed for voice communication during disasters like floods and earthquakes when other means of communication are not functional. It can be used from any location on the Indian mainland region.
This terminal provides a voice communication link between two portable terminals and between terminals to a PSTN network via a hub station. Its communication channel can be configured in either Permanently Assigned Multiple Access mode or Demand Assigned Multiple Access mode. The terminal has an easy-to-use user interface.
