solar-radiation-sensor-kds-051-pct1-34 .pdf [ Download ] |
The KDS-051 Sensor measures solar radiation based on a photodiode. A cosine corrected diffuser mitigates angular sensitivity of the sensor and gives it an angular response flatness commensurate with the accuracy within a wide field of view. Leveling arrangements are part of the sensor including a built-in spirit level. The sensor is direction insensitive and responds to the total global radiation. The range of the sensor – from 300nm to 1000nm - covers a major part of the shortwave radiation that reaches the ground. The measurements are used in the agricultural, meteorological, and hydrological fields.
