The KDS-041 Sensor measures soil moisture in automatic weather station environments. The electrical resistance type sensor is available in multiple physical packaging for different kind of applications (horizontal axis and vertical axis) and can also be deployed for surface-down and deep-bury applications. Multiple measurements can be easily achieved by using parallel sensors. The indigenously-developed sensor is used for long term or short-term soil monitoring, turf management, in greenhouses, and other agricultural applications & research. It offers accurate and reliable performance over long periods of time and is well-suited to the Indian environment.
