Station Information
The Multi level Agro-met Temp-RH station is used to collect data that helps agriculturists in taking suitable decisions for their farms, based on weather parameters like temperature and relative humidity. The weather has a very high, direct impact on the agricultural sector. In India, especially, this sector is heavily dependant on the monsoon. Seasonal floods, storms, droughts and cyclones can also inflict severe damage. The station acts as an early warning system for these events. It has 3 Temperature-Relative Humidity sensors and polls all sensors for measurements every 30 seconds. The station records & stores the data about current, local weather, and transmits it at user-defined intervals.
