The KDS-571 Sensor measures the dominant DNI (Direct Normal Incidence) short-wave solar radiation that reaches the Earth. It is a multi-drop, high-performance sensor used in automatic weather station environments. It measures direction dependent total radiation. The sensor is based on a multi-element thermopile and has an integrated sun tracker mechanism. The sensor is developed indigenously and offers stable, accurate performance over long periods of time.
