Computer Interface Unit is designed & developed for INSAT MET PAYLOADS Base band digital data acquisition on computer systems. AWS Earth station receives data from AWS stations installed at various locations through satellite link. AWS Earth station setup contains Burst demodulator through which the data received from satellite in burst mode. Demodulator has synchronous output. To make it compatible with IBM-PC, CIU is to be used.
