Navigation Maritime Weather Station |

Komoline’s Navigation Maritime Weather Station measures air pressure; air and sea temperature; humidity; wind speed and direction, and wave height and period.
The data is used to:
- Provide information on the weather of oceanic and coastal areas
- Provide meteorological warnings such as forecasts of gales, storms, cyclones that affect shipping
- Monitor weather conditions
- Forecast weather conditions
- Validate observations from other sources, like sonde or satellites
- Determine coastal erosion and sedimentation
- Conduct research on the marine ecosystem
- Observe ocean currents
- Provide salinity and water quality data
- Record coastal/marine temperature
- Monitor tides
- Record wave height and power
